Who: Return to Roots has partnered with Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, which is providing all guests with complimentary Friday evening Festival passes.
What: Fundraising Gala event, that includes a reception with an open bar, a five-star dinner with dessert and coffee and a closing reception with open bar.
When: 6-10 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2008, to celebrate original launch of program by Governor Tim Kaine and the Virginia Tobacco Commission.
Where: Historic Bristol Trainstation, Bristol, Virginia
Why: To raise funds for a matching grant and to help market Return to Roots and provide outreach to a database of more than 50,000 people who have in some way been touched by Southwest Virginia.
Who is invited: Governor Tim Kaine, former Governor Mark Warner, U.S. and Statewide elected officials as well as SWVA business men & women.
