Who: Return to Roots has partnered with Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, which is providing all guests with complimentary weekend passes for the weekend festival.
What: Fundraisng Gala event, that includes a reception with an open bar, a five-star dinner with dessert and coffee and a closing reception with open bar.
When: 6-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, to celebrate original launch of program by Governor Tim Kaine.
Where: Cumberland Square Park, Bristol, Va., alfresco.
Why: To raise funds to help market Return to Roots and provide outreach to a database of more than 32,000 people who have in some way been touched by Southwest Virginia.
Who is invited: Governor Tim Kaine, former Governor Mark Warner, all General Assembly members statewide as well as business men and women from Southwest Virginia.
