Curves
Curves is encouraging women in the local area to show their philanthropic strength by participating in the annual Curves Food Drive. From March 1 to 31, Curves locations in the area will collect non-perishable items and monetary donations for food banks in the local area. Curves members who donate a bag of groceries or make a mimimum donation of $30 during the month of March will receive a reusable Curves grocery freezer bag for free. Non-members who do likewise between March 8 and 20 can join Curves for free, as Curves will waive the cost to join. Fort Chiswell FFA Citrus Fruit Sale - Orders accepted now thru November 20. Contact a FFA Member or call the FC Agriculture Dept. 637.3437 or order by email awatson@wythe.k12.va.us Access our chapter website for products and pricing - http://fchs.wythe.k12.va.us/FFA/fundraisers.htm. The fruit will need to be picked-up at the FC Agriculture Building on December 8, 9, and 10, from 8:30 am – 7:00pm. Any fruit not picked up by 7 pm on Dec. 11, will be sold as extras.

Tax counseling and preparation is available for all taxpayers with middle and low income, with special attention to those aged 60 and older. AARP Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, will offer help with personal income tax returns.
